I am from Ohio. Years ago, I worked with a group of ladies that would get together at least once a month to make cards. I had never even thought about making cards until they invited me to a weekend getaway in Brown Co. Indiana. I really think they invited me to replace someone that couldn't go at the last minute. Once I learned to heat emboss it was all over for me! I loved heat embossing.
One of the ladies was a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. And after that weekend, we would take turns going to each other's house to make cards. That was 15 years ago. We still get together when we can, but some of the original group has since moved away.
Stepping forward, I began searching card makers online and found Julie Gilson. I started watching her weekly videos and fell in love all over again.
That is where my journey with Stampin' Up! began and I became a demonstrator. One of the main reasons, other than loving to heat emboss, is I love the way Stampin' Up! matches the paper, ink and ribbon!
I now am working from home part time and looking forward to retiring and hoping to supplement our income doing something that I love.
